Hey guys!
I'm like one of the 'free-est' person on Earth. Wait,there's no such word as free-est huh? Haha.
I'm unemployed and not so tied down, not like some of your guys, enjoying your orientation and your school camp till this poor blog's left dead. D:

It's alright. After so much time together, ironically, this is my first post.
I might just make a fool out of myself. Okay. I'm slow D:
Those who're going to Poly and have freaking lots of time, come and update this blog often please?
Well, at least updates regarding some activities that may be held as a batch or gatherings where 25th's in concern. Pictures would be great!
Especially when one by one, some of us leave Singapore for studies/family or any other reasons, at least we have a common platform to share all the joys and tears. So yeah. [This's for 25th-sick guys especially] :x

So, someone said motivation talks were alright. Soooooo. You've guessed it. I know it boring... ...
Yet, I know some of you are bored/stressed-up/JSS-sick/25th-sick and any other that you can name.
First and foremost, our very motto, To Shine with Confidence, Lead with pride. Although comparing to the working society, our motto we've once set for our batch may seem to be surreal now. Shine with confidence? Lead with pride? How ironic when everything out there may not seem to be as pure as what our motto could be. Working experiences during the holidays, which some of us had, may have brought good and bad experience to all of us here. But I'm sure it's a good learning experience despite all that. At the very least, 25th, we have a common belief.

Everyone's trying their very best to excel in whatever field they want to be in, so work hard people alright! May it be you're in Junior College, may it be you're in Poly, or may it be you're in Univeristy[Which only applies to Kathy for now though]... ...

At least for me. Despite how busy some of us can be with whatever we have whether during office, or even now, these are already part of our lessons learnt. Well, I must say its one of the big puzzle of my secondary school life. A very defining one where all of us learn together and see through out faults and etc etc.

This one year, was indeed the most memorable and unforgettable moments in my entire school life.. All the ups and downs we've gone through, all the times we seat down to talk about proposals and stuff, all the friendship we bonded during the batch gatherings and camps, all the tears we shed together, all the days in the SC room.. It will stay forever..

The Past

Remember the days when we were newly recuited councillors, the interviews that we went through, the camps & activities that bonded us together, the responsibilities that we all have & how we formed the 25th student council successfully with 37 hearts.

We were just like all of you :)

& now,

Student Leaders Camp 2008 is over,this would mean that we only left about 3 weeks of our term in the office. We would surely miss this time that we spent together, the Student Council Room where we cracked our brains, killed our brain cells to organise new events, activities & the major camps. Planning process is the toughest of all as without careful and detailed planning, regardless how hard the In-charge of events have worked, the event will still be unsuccessful. The SC room is always there for us to hold meetings and discussion. & we have made a difference in the appearance of the room. It was so much comfortable for us as compared to the past where it was so office-like, such that whenever we stepped into it, we will always think of working. But its so much cosier now. :)

Student Leaders Camp was the most major camp. It is when the changes are made. Regardless of the structure of the camp program or the tone and other activities, they are still very different from the previous camps held. But i guess everything was adapted fast.

Thanks for all the supports and understandings given, especially Mr Tan. You vetted through all proposals one by one, word for word even before your holida. & also, even in the midst of enjoying your holiday, you replied to all our doubts. Thanks for the commitment you have given for the 25ths and the Student Leaders' camp 2008. This have given us the confident to run the camp well! :)

firstly...the batch outing organised by nurul and yuehua at east coast:) it was fun fun fun even though it was raining consistently throughout the day. and we ended up bbqing in a tiny pavillion instead of the pit. and taking turns riding in the rain. one bunch at a time eating maggie mee outside 7-11. i wont ever forget this:)

secondly... The whole event will start from 8.30am to 12.30pm. However we only hv 3 hrs of activities including half hr of break.

Yo people! Induction Camp is over! Pretty enjoyed it, hope that we have make an impact on the sec 1 and sec 2 councillors. From the feedback I got from the campers, they say the camp was overall ok. Big thanks to every single one who helped out in the station games and make it a fun and successful one(I hope so). Ok, I just want to say that I have add a few albums to the pictures website now, and instead of limziying.shutterfly.com, I have changed it to 25thsc.shutterfly.com and all the pictures there are now only sc-related pictures. Other than adding the induction photos, I have also added somemore agm and lcd photos that are taken by manwei, and both albums are labelled as part 2. However, the induction camp photos are more to come, as nurul did not send me completely all the pictures that she took, so nurul u know what to do arh?? Haha.

Lastly, the student mentoring team has already start on the planning of sec 1 orientation 2008, so if u have any suggestions to the theme and on the activites, please tell any members of the student mentoring team, sec 1 or sec 2.

hey everyone!!

the holidays are coming to an end, and by mid september, we'll be in office for 2 months already. time passes really quickly right? one minute, we were still stubborn campers, and the next time we look, we're already planning a camp!:D hopefuuly, we'll make this camp a different one, something more interactive and engaging. there'll be meetings soon for the planning of the camp so look out! the basic plannings should be done by the end of this month so we'll have time for our studies.

looking forward to seeing everyone in school SOON! 3 more days left, so enjoy your holidays. hoped the CO and Choir combined camp went well!

btw, does anyone know what those giant cupboards are doing inside the SC room? they cant even fit through the door so how did they get there in the first place?

Yesterday was the teachers’ day celebration. it was an enjoyable time for the Project Management Team to have worked with all you batch mates, who went extra miles to accomplish jobs assigned to you all. though it was a bit messy at some area but we can still draw a conclusion that the celebration is still pretty much a success. Over here, I would like to thank all of you batch mates who have made the teachers' day possible, this event would not have gone anywhere without your help… Once again, i wish to convey my heart-felt thanks to all of you on behalf of the PMT.

SLC is FINALLY over!
Everyone of us had put in alot of effort for this camp;Esp the CAMP i/c.
We can all see that we are united as one for those who had went for the camp and not forgetting those who cannot make it and gave us alot of encouragement.

hey everyone

SLC's over. i really want to say that through this camp, however tough it may be, our batch had gained a super strong bond that no one can break. Everyone trusting each other, accepting each other's opinions and cheering each othe ron to the finishing line. No one gave up and i m so glad about it. JIAYOU EVERYONE. Thank you everyone for having faith in our batch, that we will be the best that we can be and more. During the Hot Seat session, we really learnt alot more about each other and we showed our real inner thoughts. we all care for each other and are concerned about each other. It's really touching to see all of us coming so far, from where we started. This leg of the marathon is reaching its end as we are stepping up as the 25th Student Council. However, the next leg has yet to begin. Hope that all of us will stand united and have faith and belief in each other, with trust in one another, with loyalty to the student council and the school. that night was long, and many of us were challenged. our beliefs and bonds were challenged and we emerged a stronger and more united batch. we were determined and we lasted. we proved that we CAN DO IT! =) no matter what we went through, however much or little, means alot to us. the memories and values belongs to us and are for us to take with ourselves, wherever we go and whatever we do. LET'S SHINE TOGETHER! bring the Student Council to another peak. i hope that everyone can remember this: NO MATTER WHAT POSTS WE GET, WE ARE STILL UNITED AS ONE, AS THE 25th. ok. everi1 is saying that tis is a rotting blog. NOT. we're jus too busy to update. so now, this is gonna b an update. to batchmates!!

miss ong wants us to form small teams to propose a proposal for the teacher's day celebrations. does not matter how mani ppl per group, but each grp must hand in one each. your grp will be required to present your proposals to the teachers, and the best proposal will be selected. it will be choosen by votes from our own batch as well as the teachers'. groups are to be told to vathsala and eileen (3/5) by next monday. submit your proposal's first draft latest by week 7. one week after the common tests. GOOD LUCK! AND JIAYOU! =)=)=)

next. reorganisation of our posts. miss ong wants us to arrange a time to meet coords to vote ourselves to the posts in the committe. it might be reshuffled, depending on the results. this is to be done once in two months until LCD. so, make up your minds. who's doin wad. so tell your schedule to our current secrectaries, man wei and yongkang (3/5) by next monday too. the meeting is supposed to be held by end of this month or early feb. b4 common tests. yep.

The main discussion was about RESPECT, ATTENDANCE, EXPECTATIONS, IMPORTANCE, DISCIPLINE, COMMITMENT, TIES AND TIEPINS AND NEW COMMITTEE.

The new committe would take effect from the second week of term 4. those without post are free to help out with other sections of the committee to make it a success.

hey, we very long never update le. hope tat u all dun mind. a lot of tings are happening and we're so busy!!! finally it's the september holidays so we can finally breathe.=)

first the Basketball cheering-- it definitely can be better bud at least we only made 2 major mistakes, one of which was not really our fault, we guess.

second is the Teacher's Day celebrations --we did quite well and our papa is quite please wid us. we must all jiayou and do a better one next year!=) o. and we already got one suggestion put forward(by Mr Ang) for next year's celebrations-- raise funds. donate half to Spore Minds School and use the other half to organise a walkathon to keep fit. can be used as substite for ACES. what do u guys tink? haha.

batchmates: we got over LCD liaoz...!!! yes! and we survived as 1 batch. throughout tis tough process of getting our ties and tiepins... sum stayed and some left. sum had to make tough decisions. but we did IT! be pround tt we did and continue to jiayou worx.

She say type what... hw i feel and all those stuffs dat u see on normal blogs lah but if type like dat hor, i feel like im talking to no one le. Which is quite stupid lah cause i type and say all my feelings and what so ever... den its not like all wanna see wat. i thing ah, ppl hu do blog is got nth to do wan, so got lot of spare time to do the blog. den someore, if ur blog like not nice right... u aso feel like u dun like ur blog den everything aso like not nice not nice like dat den u give up wan... den i type ike dis aso use Singlish wan wat, den some ppl aso say it will improve ur english wan. but like dat right, den might as wel do essay or compo den at least can put at the Voices Of JSS right... wah k lah, i do this whing ah, later cannot finish reading my book, The Da Vinci Code.
